So far it bottles down to <strong>options<\/strong> with respect to <strong>self-preservation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"has-text-color\">The more options one has, the more they can protect their <strong>well-being <\/strong>and their <strong>livelihood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"has-text-color\">Having options is also a matter of <strong>control<\/strong>. I associate the lack of options with the lack of control. Control, not just the task, but also the outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"has-text-color\">Here&#8217;s the thing about options: options can be <strong>actual options <\/strong>or it can be <strong>conceptual<\/strong>\/<strong>emotional\/spiritual\/mental options<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"has-text-color\">If one&#8217;s mental and emotional options are limited to &#8216;anger&#8217;, guess what type of person he or she is. If the same person has &#8216;slow talk&#8217;, &#8216;silence&#8217;, and &#8216;scolding&#8217;, what sort of the person will he or she be?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#000000\">Why do we study?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"has-text-color\">I always wondered &#8220;why we learn\/study?&#8221; What&#8217;s the practicality of it?<br>It&#8217;s to give us options: knowing that there are ways to address an issue. Knowing that there are different possible scenarios that we can strive towards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"has-text-color\">No, options do not eliminate fear. Fear continues to haunt us. It dwells in the recesses of our minds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#000000\" class=\"has-text-color\">Do we have the options at hand to address that fear?
